Fashion Cloth Furushima opened its second inspection and distribution factory, “Shanghai Furushima Fashion Co., Ltd. (No. 2)” in Shanghai with a building area of 3,586 square meters and 150 employees. The factory provides a total support system from inspection, mending and pressing to storage, delivery and distribution. It conducts inspection and needle inspection on 15,000 items per day. This factory, together with the other Furushima factory in Shanghai, inspects about 40,000 items per day.
This No.2 factory in particular answers the requirement for an inspection system on apparel items for the China domestic market, handling garments using display bust or hanger, and also provides support for Japanese brand sales into the China market.
This year, the company marks 10years of its China business. Currently Furushima has 10 factories in 8 major cities of Shanghai, Dalian, Qingdao, Changzhou, Taizhou, Nanjing, Zhuhai, Dongguan. This year the company has been expanding its business operations by cooperation with BOSIDENG, the biggest down apparel maker in China, inspecting its product designed for the European and the U.S. markets. This inspection factory of BOSIDENG is reportedly its biggest new business.
