Fashion Cloth Furushima, mending and inspection company, (Head office: HanyuCity, Saitama Prefecture, Japan; Kunio Furushima, CEO) works on the improvement of its inspection services by starting a new service of inspection using display bust and hanger in its Shanghai company. This year it has expanded its inspection services to products destined for markets other than Japan.
The company conducts inspection and mending in Shanghai, Qingdao, Changzhou, Dalian and Zhuhai. In June last year it established a joint venture in Shanghai where cloth testing and inspection are performed. It can provide in China a total service from testing of raw materials to product inspection, mending and pressing.
For further improvement in its inspection quality, it has also started inspection of luxury garments using display bust and hanger in Shanghai. In this inspection a garment is dressed on display bust or on hanger and inspection is conducted according to the specifications. The company can handle about 1,000 items (in jacket equivalent) per day.
The company looks to the inspection of the product destined for markets other than Japan. Among the product are the Japanese brands for sale within China as well as those for Korea and Europe. This year the product for Japan market are expected to account for 30 per cent.
